Three easy things that you can do to foster good relationships with agents.

Being a real estate agent is hard enough without feeling like you’re competing against every other agent you meet. Here are three tips for strengthening relationships with other agents:

  1. Remember that there’s plenty of real estate for everyone. There’s nothing worse than going to work every day and feeling like you have to compete with every agent you meet. That’s why being part of a team that nurtures you and supports you is so important. When you’re not competing with the agents around you, the real estate game becomes more about who you can help, not who you’re up against.

  1. Take time to mentor new licensees. This may sound time-consuming, but helping out new agents not only strengthens your relationships with them but also with the other agents who see you actively trying to help others succeed. This little gesture can go a long way to proving that you are not their enemy.

  1. Go above and beyond to help each other. Taking a showing for a fellow teammate who is sick or too busy helping with open houses, simply offering tips on social posts, or helping out in videos shows that you are a team player. All it takes is doing more than just the bare minimum to show the other agents that you respect them and their business.

With these three simple techniques, you can take your business with other agents from stress to paradise. It’s these very techniques that have created the culture for my team.
